Conference organized by Kharkiv National University of Arts named by I.P. Kotlyarevsky on January 14-16, 2023, online on the Zoom platform.

The organizers and moderators of the conference are Dr. Julia Nikolaievska, Professor of Art History, and Dr. Irina Sukhlenko, Professor of Art History.

The day dedicated to art therapy was held in collaboration with Art Therapy Force. It brought together speakers and practitioners from the USA, Scotland, the United Kingdom, Croatia, Canada, Poland, and Ukraine (Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa). It included the presentation of the Art Therapy Center at I.P. Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv National University of Arts and the student art therapy community (led by Y. Nikolaievska). Students from I.P. Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv National University of Arts showcased videos of their work with children from shelters in Lviv, a children’s hospital in Kharkiv, and children displaced from occupied cities, created during sessions with composer and music therapist Nigel Osborne as part of the elective course “Music and Creative Arts in the Community.”
